We make girls too!

So yesterday I was finally able to go in for the "BIG" ultrasound! I had originally scheduled it for the 16th, but became too impatient and rescheduled for the 11th. Then along came a lovely snowstorm and ruined my plans...which led to us waiting all the way 'till the 19th. (It was torture, I tell you!) I was starting to get a little nervous because I hadn't felt much movement for a few days, but once we got our baby on the screen, she was all over the place. The woman doing the ultrasound kept commenting on how active our little girl was. It took quite a while to get all of the pictures they needed, but we were more than happy to check out our little girl from every possible angle. Well, Joe was...I couldn't see as much as he could from where I was laying.

Henry is excited to be a big brother and to be getting a sister. From the beginning he has been telling us that the baby was a girl and that he wanted a sister. Looks like he was right all along. He was probably thinking 'Mom, I was just there...trust me on this one!'
Joe and I are both super excited to be having a girl! Having a boy is great, (especially one as sweet as Henry) and we are looking forward to having one of each!
